About this Event
Sunday Service at Praise House continues The Praise House Project’s Black History Month programming with a focus on memory, testimony, and preservation.
This gathering invites community members to record oral histories with Sean Jones of the Association for the Study of African American Life and History (ASALH). Participants are welcomed into a thoughtful, supportive space to share stories, reflections, and lived experiences that contribute to the preservation of Black history and collective memory.
The afternoon also includes a creative offering and a guided historic tour of South-View Cemetery, grounding the experience in Atlanta’s African American legacy and ancestral remembrance.
All are welcome. Participation is optional.
