We have an opportunity this coming SUNDAY, May 24 to take part in the “FLAGS OVER THE DAM” organized by Viet Nam Vets M.C.We will be meeting at 8:30 a.m. in the PARKING LOT of WHOLE FOODS at the 215 and Green Valley Pkwy in Henderson.
We’ll ride over the Boulder Dam to the Arizona side … line up in the ‘procession’ … When the group leaves and rides towards the cemetery for services (which last about 3 hours), our group will leave the group (when the group turns to go to the cemetery) and head to Searchlight and to Cottonwood Cove for breakfast. This is a great, relaxing, scenic ride ending up on the Colorado River. (National Park Entrance Fee).
By doing this, we are cutting out about 4 hours of trying to find a place to park at the cemetery and the very long ceremony.
If you would like to do this please let me know so I can let the Desert Brotherhood Motorcycle Club know how many riders to expect.
