About this Event

This Second Sunday Reset uses watercolor as a restorative practice, not a performance. We paint flat at tables, letting water and pigment move naturally across the page.

We’ll offer a few visual anchors to begin with — not instructions, not goals. You’re free to follow one, combine them, or ignore them entirely. The focus is on slowing down, noticing sensation, and releasing control—no pressure to “finish” or perfect anything.

Gentle prompts guide the session, but the goal is rest, curiosity, and a quiet reset before the week ahead. No experience needed. Come as you are, leave a little lighter.

Atmosphere & Environment
Sunday Reset is intentionally designed as a calm, low-stimulus experience. The room will be softly lit, tables will be set flat (no easels), and instrumental background music will play throughout the session. These elements are part of the guided reset and will remain consistent for the duration of the event.

This session prioritizes rest, ease, and sensory quiet over customization. Guests are encouraged to arrive ready to slow down and let the environment do some of the work.

Arrival & Settling (10 min)

Release & First Wash (25 min)

Info: Begin with loose, low-pressure washes. Focus on water, movement, and color rather than form. Minimal prompts, plenty of quiet.

Discovery & Observation (25 min)

Info: Watch how pigment settles, blooms, and softens. Optional techniques like tilting the paper, lifting color, or adding water. Curiosity over correction.

Optional Pause (15 min)

Info: A natural midpoint rest. Step back, hydrate, stretch, or simply sit. No need to add anything unless it feels right.

Gentle Intention (25 min)
Optional visual anchors are offered—such as a horizon, simple shape, or color
Soft Close (10 min)

Info: Painting winds down naturally. Quiet reflection and unhurried departure. No formal sharing or critique.
