Circular route around the northern tip of Malta. Another coastal trail with lovely panoramic vistas of Gozo and Comino over a varied and interesting rugged landscape and including a scattering of agricultural pods within the largely rocky landscape, flat rocky plains by the sea, large boulders, weather hewn rock features like arches and man made irrigation systems that feed this spartan landscape and rock cut rooms and stairs etc. For many, this would be a first time around this area and another trek in our coastal trails series.
The terrain is mostly either rugged including pathways over a series of undulating clay slopes. Apine poles are recommended.
