Join Ms. Sara at Clio’s for an engaging, interactive storytime featuring Where the Wild Things Are and Abiyoyo! While you sip a coffee (or a morning adult beverage), your little ones will enjoy stories filled with movement, music, and imagination. Perfect for curious, 3-7 year old kids and relaxed grown-ups!
Sara Rizik-Baer believes in the power of children’s books to foster critical thinking and the life-long pursuit of knowledge. Beginning her career as a bilingual educator in East Oakland, Sara has been working in education for almost two decades specializing in literacy, language development, early education, and curriculum design. Passionate about the power of interactive Storytime, Sara works with school districts across California to support teachers in the art of storytelling as a tool for early literacy and language development. She holds a Master’s degree in Language and Literacy from the Harvard Graduate School of Education and a BA in Comparative Literature from Oberlin College.
