About this Event
Step into the world of sound healing in this immersive, rejuvenating experience! We’ll begin with a brief introduction to the basics of sound healing, followed by a guided meditative journey, and then it’s your turn to simply sit back, relax, and enjoy the transformative power of sound.
As the tones from the sound bowls resonate, they create ripples of energy through your body—much like the gentle waves that spread when a stone is dropped into a pond. These sound waves flow through the water in your body, forming intricate energy patterns that remind your system what wellness feels like. Each vibration gently guides your body, mind, and spirit toward harmony and healing, as each chakra and energy center resonates with specific tones, notes, and frequencies.
Sound medicine—using music to aid healing and reduce stress—offers benefits like:
- Triggering memories of balance within your DNA
- Releasing emotions that may be stuck
- Lowering blood pressure and reducing stress-related insulin spikes
- Dissolving energetic or mental blockages
- Deepening your connection with your inner self
- Lightening the weight of stress, depression, and anxiety
- Complementing any current wellness treatments
Simply put, music helps us heal! It’s no surprise you feel so uplifted when listening to your favorite tunes.
Feel free to bring your own yoga mat, blanket, comfy socks- anything that will bring you some cozy relaxation as you enjoy the sounds of healing.
NOTE: By participating, sound healing attendees attest that are well-enough to experience the sound bath. Attendees must sign a release form prior to the event.
About your sound bath leader:
Amy Nolte, certified in sound, stone and soul-work is the sole proprietor of Soul Energy Evolution in Ballston Spa, NY. She offers a wide variety of holistic, mystic and play based therapies that allow clients to explore new ways of healing old hurts, reshape perspectives on repeating life events and themes, or simply for the curious who have exhausted traditional therapeutic methodologies and are not making the progress they would like.
Amy served as a liturgical musician for the Catholic Diocese of Albany, NY from 1991-2021 playing keyboard, percussion and vocals. For three decades she saw firsthand how beautiful, soulful music could often be the catalyst that would allow people to express their emotions or help to capture their feelings when they couldn’t quite find the right words. She was naturally drawn to the world of sound medicine and continues to explore how deeply music can serve the physical, mental and emotional subtle bodies.
