Sunday Morning Sound BathFor many of us Sundays can often be a day of rest and recuperation before we start another week. And starting your day with meditation can help set the tone for the rest of the day. Good reasons to come to Phoenix for a Sunday Morning Sound Bath!
Led by Greg Burns of Metta Vibrations, the Sound Bath Experience is a unique and meditative musical experience that helps to foster deep relaxation of both the mind and the body. This prolonged state of deep relaxation can help the body enter into rest and repair mode, help the nervous system regulate and balance, relieve stress and pain, ND improve our general state of being.
This session will take place on Sunday, 5/19 starting at 10:30am and will incorporate the soothing sounds of singing bowls, gongs, chimes and more. No prior experience required.

Cost: $25
Attendees are encouraged to wear comfortable clothing and limit caffeine and alcohol intake prior. The Phoenix studio offers a variety of mats, blankets, bolsters, etc for creating a comfortableresting spot. Those attending might also consider bringing any mat or chair they prefer to use for relaxing.

Greg Burns is a Practitioner in the Healing Art of Sound hailing from the mountains of Virginia. He offers private Sound sessions at Horizons Therapy and has been offering a wide range of services and sound experiences for a number of years now throughoutthe mid-Atlantic region. Greg utilizes a range of instruments as part of his practice including Tibetan Singing Bowls, Gong, Drums, Chimes, Rattles, and more. He has shared his Sound experiences all over Virginia and the East Coast, including at the well-known Kripalu Yoga Center in MA. He also regularly leads community drum circles and ws percussionist for the groups Chakra Khan and Spiritheart Collective. Having also worked for 15 years in a therapy hospital allows Greg to offer a unique and expansive understanding of the individual healing process.
