The Sunday Letter Project is a community writing initiative from Rebecca & Karl of Wildflower Illustration Co., designed to encourage and inspire as many people as possible to begin writing letters again. To take part in the project, you simply have to sign a pledge to promise to yourself that you will carve out a small pocket of time every Sunday to write a letter.First, you sign a pledge to write a letter every Sunday:

to myself or someone else - as an act of reflection,
connection and calm.
I believe in the power of carving out a pocket of time
for myself and I am committed to embracing this

Then, you can either write to someone you know or you can join the effort to connect with others even though you don't know them. We will keep local letters for people to pick-up here or you can choose one of the Letter Keeper addresses and send your letter to them. There are guidelines that will be shared at the shop when you come to relax and write or you can find them when you take the pledge!
We will provide pens, pencils and plain paper for your letter writing plus comfy seats in our lounge. We have other items available to purchase should you want a card or something fancier for your letter writing.
