What's unique about our sound bath:
Expect a bit of whimsy and wonder. Kathryn Para (www.togetherlystudios.com) is the main practitioner. She is a trauma-informed yoga teacher and neurodivergent veteran with a passion to share tools for nervous system regulation. As a Berklee-trained Singer-songwriter (B.A in Songwriting '25) , she brings her original music and skills, but with a focus on whimsy and wonder. She is passionate about sharing tools she has found helpful in regulating her nervous system, and these events support the work she does in local schools and community, and around the country in professiobal development. As a M.Ed Student at Breathe for Change (Social Emotional Learning, Mindfulness and Yoga), she brings the expertise she learns and studies for deep transformation.
Guided Meditation to follow or ignore:
We'll provide a bit of guided meditation to help you tune into your breath and help you release your stress. Often Kathryn (a singer-songwriter and yoga teacher) will intuitively create and share original songs or vocalization during her sound baths designed to help you sink in or deepen your experience.
Sound Journey:
As the session begins, you'll be immersed in an intutive journey of soothing sounds, starting with gentle tones that gradually build into a rich tapestry of harmonious vibrations. The experience can be completely passive; your only task is to breathe naturally, and allow the therapeutic sound waves to wash over you. You can follow guided meditate, focus on breath work, or fall into a peaceful sleep. There's no wrong way to experience the sound bath. Each person's journey is unique, and we encourage you to honor whatever arises during your session.

Community feel to class:
We work to make our events accessible to all, and affordable. We are able to keep our cost low, because this is a weekly event, for which we rent the space, and we ask that our community members help set up and put away the equipment they use. This saves us time, and also helps our disabled practitioner to perform the sound bath without hiring extra help. We appreciate the community feel to this class.
Accessibility:
We seek to embrace you as you are. If you have any concerns, or ways we can make this practice more accessible to you, please let us know and we'll do our best to accommodate you.
The event happens on the ground floor, there is a bathroom inside, which is three steps up from the main space. If a more accessible bathroom is needed, the park accross the street sometimes an option to use before it closes (at dark).
