About this Event
A relaxed drawing session held by award winning and internationally exhibited artist Katie McGroarty in her own studio at WASPS Dundee.
Each week a different composition will be set up, participants can choose whether to follow different technqiues demonstrated by Katie or do their own thing. Although materials are provided, please feel free to bring any materials of your own that you are currently favouring or exploring. Altenratively, you can bring something your working on in your own time and enjoy the company of other artists while you wokr on your own thing.
Some easels are available, although please mindful of their limited availability.
Please keep in mind this is a working building and be aware of the noise in corridors. Additionally this is a working studio with materials in shelving units that are not for public use, materials allocated for borrowing are in the designated box near the door of the studio.
If you would like to secure an easel or specific seat please make sure you come on time (or a little bit earlier), as there is a limited amount of easels. Additionally if you have materials to set up please make sure you are on time so the class isn’t disrupted, and if you are using wet materials please make sure not to get any on anyone else’s work, person or property, and clean up after yourself when you are finished.
Please be aware that although chairs and other equipment can be moved, you should ask the facilitator first so she can ensure no-one else’s view is obstructed.
