Join us on Sunday, March 8th at 10:30 am as we welcome back beloved guest speaker Rev. Barbara Williams with a message on "Awakening from the Trance of Unworthiness." Christine Mariani will musically accompany this service with her inspired musical selections. There is a quiet ache that lives beneath much of human striving. It is the feeling that something is wrong with us. That we are not enough. That we must become better, holier, wiser, more successful, more spiritual before we can finally belong.
Yet the central message of both Jesus and the great mystical traditions is simple and radical: We already belong.
Our most fundamental need is not self-improvement. Our most fundamental need is remembering. Remembering who we are. Remembering that we have never been separate from the Source of Life and that there is nothing we can do that stops the unconditional love of God being offered to us in every moment.
