Free event. Beginner & experienced birders welcome! Meet outside Trailside Nature Center for a guided hike through Burnet Woods learning about local birds. Bring binoculars if you have them. Walk is usually about 2 miles on trails, sidewalks & disc golf course. Bring water if needed. Group meets on the 1st and 3rd Sundays of each month, weather permitting. Rain at start time cancels walk.Details: Please enter through the Ludlow/Jefferson entrance where there is plenty of free parking. Maps show that you can drive through the park from other entrances - this is not correct. Public restrooms and fountains in the park close for the season in October-April. Many businesses & the library on Ludlow Avenue have restrooms, as does Brueggers on Clifton Avenue across from the park.
