About this Event
Join Paul from our nature and wellbeing project Wild Ways Well for a gentle afternoon stroll from Broadwood Locah to Moswater Local Nature Reserve looking for bees, butterfleis, dragonflies, and other pollinators.
We'll elarn how to catch and identify some common species, and why looking after these awesome little creatures is so important for our health, and the future of our planet.
Engaging with nature like this helps people to live happier, healthier, lives - and as we are doing it as part of the Nurturing Natural Connections project, there is the added benefit that by taking part you are helping nature too.
Cumbernauld Living Landscape is improving Cumbernauld’s green spaces for both people and wildlife, while helping everyone in the community connect with the nature on their doorstep. Funded by National Lottery players, it is a partnership led by Scottish Wildlife Trust, with partners North Lanarkshire Council, TCV – The Conservation Volunteers and Sanctuary Scotland.
