Join the NEPA Guitar Society and The Olde Stories for an evocative afternoon, celebrating the passionate world of Federico García Lorca. Through music, poetry and dramatic reading, this special program explores the surreal imagery and deep folkloric roots that define Lorca‘s enduring voice.
Jason Smeltzer brings Lorca’s words to life through dramatic reading and the luminous musicality of the theremin. Featuring the Marywood Guitar Ensemble under the direction of Diego Carvalho, Marywood University Vocal Soloists, with ensemble arrangements by Kyle Jenkins, this performance weaves together guitar, spoken word, and vocal artistry.
