About this Event
What you'll do:
Join Liz to learn cyanotype printing, a method for creating beautiful botanical prints using sunlight! In cyanotype printing, light-sensitive dye is applied to fabric or paper and objects (often flowers!) are placed over the surface to block the sunlight. Once the surface is exposed to sunlight, a vibrant blue color emerges and you’re left with a dreamy botanical print.
Using locally collected flowers and found trinkets, you’ll learn how to compose and expose your very own cyanotype prints, including a sun printed tote bag.
What you’ll create:
Your own cyanotype tote bag and paper sun prints.
All materials will be provided. All workshop participants will also receive 10% off any food and beverage purchase at Creature Comforts Cafe during the event.
