We are summiting the challenging Gabal Madsous - advanced hiking levelBe ready for a lot of hiking and amazing views from the top and along the route.
Gabal Madsous panorama is one of the most beautiful yet challenging mountains in the Saint Catherine area. It is located in the remote western part of the Saint Catherine Mountains, in Gabaleyia tribe territory.
Madsous summit should be around 1800 to 1900m, the difficulty to summit is mainly that it does not have a clear trail to reach the summit,,, and it needs long hours of walking to reach the mountain itself, a complete day walking in and a complete day to walk out.
The mountain is remote, isolated and not visited frequently, which allows mountains goats and Ibex to settle.
Breathtaking view of the Red Sea from the summit and the whole range of St. Catherine mountains.

Leaving Cairo Wednesday 06 May 6PM
Returning Cairo Saturday 09 May 11PM
The initial trip plan is as follows:
• Wednesday late night; reaching Tarfa. sleep to be ready for next day's adventure.
• Thursday early in the morning, after breakfast. Start our 10-12 hours hiking. By end of the day, we should reach our camping area, in the middle of mountains.
• Friday will hike and summit Gabal Madsous. enjoy views from the top, then head back to our camping area.
• Saturday morning, we walk out till reaching Tarfa.
• Head back to Cairo. Expected to arrive 11 PM
Fees: 8250 LE/person

•100% refund before April 30.
•2600 LE cancellation fees after April 30.
•No cancelation within 48 hrs from event beginning time.
*The event can be cancelled in case of bad weather or government regulations.
