About this Event
Welcome to the 10th Anniversary Summit on Children!
Join us at the FSU Alumni Center on Tuesday, December 3, for our Business and Community Leaders Breakfast, marking the official kick off for the10th Anniversary Summit on Children. Originally launched in 2015 by then Mayor Andrew Gillum, this is an opportunity for the business community to learn about family-friendly business practices that directly impact their current and future workforce.
Over the years, the Summit on Children has been the catalyst for several family-focused initiatives impacting early childhood, workplace policies, and the creation of the Children's Services Council of Leon County (CSC Leon). This annual event attracts 200+ business and community leaders who are ready to take and sustain action to strengthen families so all children and youth can thrive. This year's Summit is a day-long event featuring three distinct events: The Business and Community Leaders Breakfast in the morning, a "Provider-to-Provider" Resource Exchange in the afternoon, and a Family Book Fair and Childhood Screening in the evening. All members of our community are invited and encouraged to attend.
Presented in partnership by Whole Child Leon and CSC Leon, this year's Summit will celebrate ten years of action and includes a timely keynote presentation on the intersection between workplace policies and artificial intelligence to prepare the future workforce. It is also your opportunity to better understand the impact of the business community on family health and well-being.
Don't miss out on this special milestone celebration where we reflect on the progress made over the past decade and look ahead to the future. Register now to secure your spot!
