About this Event
Today’s workforce challenges don’t start at the office—they start in the community.
Join regional business leaders for a focused breakfast conversation examining the direct link between child and family well-being, workforce readiness, and business performance. As employers navigate recruitment challenges, absenteeism, and retention pressures, family-friendly workplace practices are no longer “nice to have”—they are a competitive advantage. This year’s Business Breakfast will explore:
- How early childhood experiences and family stability shape the future workforce
- Why family-friendly policies (flexibility, childcare access, predictable schedules) matter right now for today’s employees
- What data tells us about the impact of these practices on productivity, reliability, and retention
- How businesses can engage in practical, scalable solutions that strengthen both their workforce and the communityDesigned for executives, employers, and decision-makers, this session connects community conditions to business outcomes—and highlights where business leadership can make a measurable difference.
Presented in partnership by Whole Child Leon and the Children's Services Council of Leon County.
