Summertime Promenade

The much-anticipated Summertime Promenade brings dancing and socializing to young Catholics from near and far.

Groove to the disco beat with the latin hustle, and elegantly glide across the floor with the slow waltz. We will also feature some music for salsa and tango! You’ll learn the steps (instruction is part of the fun), get to know like-minded singles, and enjoy a special night on the town.

Details

• Come dance hustle and waltz. Even if you’re an absolute beginner, by evening’s end your hands and feet will have developed minds of their own
• Learn to lead a lady with confidence, or to follow a gentleman with grace
• There’ll be snacks, seltzers, and further refreshments to enjoy
• On your own? Play the socialite – dance with strangers and meet new people in an environment where everyone is on the same page
• Dress code is semi-formal; you can help us out by not wearing jeans
• Gentlemen, smooth-soled shoes are essential, and straight-cut pants allow for comfortable movement
• Ladies, be sure your skirt or dress doesn’t drag along the floor. (Ankle-length works fine)
