A weekend to slow down, reconnect and come back to the land.

Summer is on its way. The days are lengthening, the light is warming and nature is waking up fully. But city life has a way of making you miss it entirely.

It is a small, intentional gathering in the woods. For a weekend, we step out of the noise of the city and into something slower, simpler and more grounded.

This is a weekend of coming back. To the land, to other people and to yourself.

By the time June arrives the days will be long, the land will be full and there will be something in the air that only summer brings. This camp is built around that energy.

The weekend moves through time on the land, tea and ceremony, movement, shared cooking and long evenings around the fire with music, story and song. There may even be a dance.

This summer we are bringing three things that make it unlike any previous camp. A bushcraft challenge where teams race to make fire, build shelter and brew a tea against the clock. A foraging walk out on the land learning to read what is growing around you. And a woodland navigation game where you move checkpoint to checkpoint reading the land and finding your way.

There is always space to join in fully and always space to step back.

🔥 EVENINGS AROUND THE FIRE

In summer the light lingers late. We make the most of it.

We cook together, eat together and then settle in around the fire. Stories, music, folklore and the kind of conversation that only seems to happen outdoors.

These are often the moments people remember most.

🏕️ WHAT'S INCLUDED

🌿 Two nights glamping in a furnished bell tent with bed frame, mattress, pillow and blanket provided
🍲 All meals from Friday dinner through Sunday lunch

👣 WHO THIS IS FOR

You do not need to be experienced or outdoorsy. Many come alone. Most feel unsure beforehand. By the end, it feels like a small community.

🚂 GETTING THERE

Sparrow's Campsite is near Braintree, Essex. Around one hour from Liverpool Street. Full directions sent on booking.
We also run a lift share and pretty much always manage to get everyone there by car. Details shared with all ticket holders closer to the date.

🌿 Sober event. No alcohol or substances on site
