Course Description:
This course is intended for rising Sophomores who must finish next year's wellness education requirement over the summer due to scheduling constraints in the 2026-2027 school year. The Summer Wellness Program 2026 is a hybrid concept with in-person wellness classes and virtual health learning components. This course will follow the content taught in person over the school year.
Date(s): June 9, 2026 - July 28, 2026
Location: Upper St. Clair High School
Grades: For Rising 10th Grade Students
Sophomore Requirements (10th Grade)
• Must complete 36 hours of in-person wellness classes between June 9 and July 28.
• Must complete 12 hours of online asynchronous wellness classes between June 9 and July 28.
• We request students refrain from engaging in more than two fitness hours for the health and well-being of the student, no more than 10 days, doubling up hours. This allows for potential summer travel.
Times: Students will select a time slot during registration, which includes:
- 8:00 a.m. - 9:00 a.m.
- 9:00 a.m. - 10:00 a.m.
Registration Deadline: May 29, 2026
All courses are subject to cancellation if minimum enrollments are not reached.
