Ignite Yoga’s Teen Summer Immersion is a time to move, reset, and reconnect. If you’re between 15–18, you’re invited. No matter your yoga experience, you’ll fit right in.Over four days, you’ll explore yoga in a way that actually connects to your life. You’ll move your body (asana), learn how to use your breath to calm your mind (pranayama), and try meditation (dhyana) in a way that feels approachable—not intimidating. You’ll also get a look at the bigger picture of yoga and how it can help you handle stress, feel more confident, and stay grounded.
This yoga immersion is about showing up as you are. You’ll be guided by instructors who truly enjoy working with teens and alongside others your age who are doing the same.
Think of this as time that’s actually yours—to slow down, connect, and leave feeling stronger, calmer, and more connected.
What you’ll learn:
·Yoga beyond the movement
·The difference between being in your body and being in the mind
·How to breathe so your body relaxes
·Various breathing techniques and their effects on the body
·What meditation is (and what it isn’t) and its benefits
·Yoga postures and sequences
What you’ll gain:
·Deeper understanding of your body and how it moves
·Knowledge of what yoga is and what it isn’t
·Ability to use yoga techniques in your everyday life
·Connection with like-minded peers
·Confidence in practicing yoga independently and in a group setting
What to expect:
Everyday will include two discussion/workshop sessions, two yoga practices, and a 45-minute break for lunch. You’ll need to bring lunch Monday-Wednesday. A smoothie bowl lunch is provided on the last day of the immersion.
