Join Virginia MOCA and the Chrysler Museum for a dynamic two-day program that brings contemporary visual culture to life. On Tuesday, dive into two inaugural exhibitions at the newly opened Virginia MOCA, Nina Chanel Abney: The Pursuit of Happiness and Seamless Art and Design, and on Wednesday, explore the Chrysler Museum’s permanent collection and Perry Glass Studio. Using each day as a springboard for hands-on exploration, educators will engage in design thinking, wearable art, and material-based artmaking alongside fellow teachers.
