About this Event
Summer Solstice Walk | 9km | Open to All (18+)๐๐ฟ
As we welcome the longest day of the year, join us in beautiful Llangollen for a special Summer Solstice walk celebrating light, energy, and connection to the outdoors.
Our route will start in the centre of Llangollen, heading up to the historic ruins of Castell Dinas Brรขn, where weโll take in sweeping views across the Dee Valley as the summer sun stretches across the hills. After this, we will head down to Valle Crucis Abbey, stopping halfway for a refreshment break at The Chainbridge Hotel near Horseshoe Falls. After which, we will follow the canal path back into town.
The Summer Solstice is a time of vitality and abundance โ a moment to pause, reflect, and fully embrace the height of the season. Expect steady-paced walking, beautiful scenery, and a welcoming, supportive atmosphere open to all.
Come to move, to breathe, and to mark the turning of the sun together. ๐
