Save the date and join us at Butser Hill for this free community event as we celebrate the longest day of the year. We will be bringing in the sunrise with Druids from the Sylvan Grove. We hope you will drum as you walk up the hill to welcome the sun at the ceremony, so bring along your drums, pots, pans and spoons for the celebration!In addition to the sunrise ceremony, enjoy a variety of activities from nature crafts to yoga and storytelling. There's something for everyone!
What's On?
☀️ Sunrise Ceremony: Welcome the sunrise with Druids from the Slyvan Grove.
🪘 Procession: Bring your drums, pots, pans and spoons as you walk up Butser Hill to greet the sun. The procession starts at 3:45am from the Visitor Centre.
📖 Storytelling: Enjoy captivating stories from Dawn Nelson from 2:30am to 4:30am near the Butser Hill Kiosk.
💮 Nature Crafts: Get creative with nature crafts for all ages, make yourself a flower crown or rain maker!
🧘 Sunrise Yoga: Relax and rejuvenate with yoga after the ceremony over looking the South Downs.
All activities are free, but parking fees apply. We look forward to celebrating with you!
