Immerse yourself in the peace and quiet of beautiful RSPB Arne, while watching the breath-taking spectacle of sunrise over Poole Harbour. The 2 hour walk will start at 6am and will slowly wind its way through the nature reserve, via pockets of ancient woodland and heathland to the shoreline - in time for sunrise on the longest day of the year.
This is a not to be missed opportunity to take in the tranquillity of the reserve on a gentle solstice stroll. We’ll pause to take in the sights and sounds of the reserve – birds singing in the longest day, maybe a glimpse of a deer moving silently through the undergrowth.
Allow yourself time to step away from your busy life to ‘un-plug’ and enjoy time re-connecting with nature.
RSPB Arne is a stunning nature reserve on the banks of Poole Harbour and offers miles of trails through woodland, across open heathland and along a stretch of shoreline with its views across the harbour Islands. Binoculars are available to hire on the day, for the duration of the event – please ask the event leader.
