About this Event
We're celebrating the summer solstice with Handmade in Ayr and Ayrshire Food and a' That at Robert Burns Birthplace Museum!
A staple at RBBM, Handmade in Ayr crafters will bring along their own independent makers and crafters to showcase and sell their creations. Food stalls will be provided by Ayrshire Food and a' That, as part of their mission to tell the world about Ayrshire's rich culinary culture.
With over fifty artisan craft and food producers, you'll be spoilt for choice.
Robert Burns Birthplace Museum will be serving up a special street food menu, along with coffee, cake, and freshly made cocktails to enjoy as you peruse the market, or relax in our garden.
RBBM's own retail shop will also be open, as will the museum exhibition. We are offering a reduced admission ticket to the exhibition for this event only; £5 tickets are available to purchase on this Eventbrite page.
Otherwise, entry to this event is free of charge. If you are planning on coming along, reserving one of our free tickets is very helpful; not essential, but does help us keep track of things!
Pop-up performances from Rock Choir will be the soundtrack to the evening, alongside other family-friendly entertainment - our playpark will be open too, so bring the whole family along for a fun-filled evening!
