Join guest Ayurveda teacher Komal Dadlani and Samantha Reynolds, founder of Cafe Namaste, for a beginner-friendly introduction to Ayurveda at The Kampong on Saturday, June 13 from 11:00 - 1:00 PM.
Learn practical tools for daily living, enjoy a cooling herbal tea, receive a take-home recipe card, and share light seasonal snacks including fresh fruit and dates. Workshop admission includes all-day access to the beautiful Kampong National Tropical Botanical Garden nestled on Biscayne Bay in Coconut Grove.
This workshop is designed for absolute beginners. No prior experience with Ayurveda needed.
An optional yoga class with Samantha is available from 10:00 - 11:00 AM before the workshop with Komal. Bundle tickets are available.

What is Ayurveda?
Ayurveda is a traditional Indian system of living in relationship with nature, the seasons, the body, and daily life. In this 2-hour workshop, you will explore the foundations of Ayurveda through the lens of summer, including cooling rituals, seasonal foods and drinks, and simple practices for navigating Miami’s hotter months with more ease and balance.
About Komal Dadlani, 500HR Yoga and Ayurveda Teacher
@komi_yoga | Komal Dadlani is a yoga and Ayurveda teacher with more than 13 years of teaching experience and over 15 years of dedicated personal practice. She has completed 500+ hours of Hatha Yoga training across India, France, London, and California, along with in-clinic Ayurveda study, meditation certifications, and ongoing study of traditional yogic texts including the Yoga Sutras of Patanjali, the Bhagavad Gita, Yoga Vashista, Viveka Chudamani, and Tattva Bodha. Komal’s teaching is rooted in classical practice, careful observation, and compassionate guidance. She has led workshops, masterclasses, and teacher training modules in Ayurveda, yoga philosophy, pranayama, meditation, and Vedanta with yoga centers around the world.
In this workshop, Komal will introduce Ayurveda in a practical and accessible way, with a focus on simple summer rituals, cooling practices, and everyday tools for seasonal balance.

About the Kampong
The Kampong isa 9-acre botanical garden and historic estate located in Miami's Coconut Grove neighborhood. Named after the Javanese and Malay word for "village", it is one of only five gardens managed by the non-profit National Tropical Botanical Garden (NTBG). The Kampong is the former home of Dr. David Fairchild. Home and garden admission included. Free parking on-site.
