Celebrate Throwback Summer with The Farmington Libraries at the Summer Reading Kickoff Celebration on Wednesday, June 17 from 5:30 PM - 7:30 PM!Bring your dinner, a blanket, and/or some lawn chairs, and join us outside for some lawn games and activities. Then go inside to dance to some throwbacks with DJ Red Supreme as he spins music and leads dances. Didn't pack a picnic dinner? No problem! Craftbird, Ember, and Rita's Italian Ice food trucks will be selling food on site.
There will also be activities for all ages provided by our community partners! No registration is required. See you there!
*We will have a Sensory Sensitive Hour from 4:30pm-5:30pm that will include a handful of activities, the opportunity to sign up for Summer Reading and more! During the hours of 4:30pm-7:30pm we will have a quiet room on the second floor of the library for patrons who may need to take a break from the noise and crowds. Limited amounts of noise protection ear muffs will be available for Adults and Children.
