Calling all young animators and creatives 11-18yrs! Join us in bringing books to life through large scale 3D animation!
Join local immersive storytellers MBD in a hands-on creative technology workshop where you will learn the basics of 3D animation to create a looping animation based on the Summer Reading Challenge theme: Read to the Beat.
Work with pre-made 3D models and animation motion capture library to create a looping scene that will be stitched together to create a large-scale projection at Leicester Cathedral as part of a celebration day on 1st August 2026.
All equipment and materials are provided.
As part of this workshop, participants will also develop skills in: ICT, creative thinking, problem-solving, collaboration, communication, teamwork and more.
