Summer reading & writing camp for rising 5th through 9th graders. Groups will be divided into appropriate grade level reading groups. Camp will include Book Club discussions, Reading Time, Nature Journaling, & Writing Workshops. Afternoon snack included. Attendees will need to ride their bike, bring lunch, and a water bottle. Attendees will be moving around downtown Salida from the bookstore (with an adult supervisor). All attendees will be entered into a raffle drawing for a new National Parks book, and will receive books for their reading club and a journal. 10 am - 2 pm Monday - Thursday.
$200 for 4 days of programming includes books.
