Join us for a big summer picnic at Temple Newsam - a full day of culture, animals, play and sunshine (we hope!) for the whole family.For today only, tickets are £5 per person, including entry to Temple Newsam House and Home Farm.
Bring a picnic, spread out on the lawns, and enjoy a relaxed day together. (Under‑1s go free.)
There’ll be family crafts, entertainment and plenty to explore. If the weather turns, we’ll simply move the fun indoors so you can keep playing.
After your visit to the House, head down to the old Farm entrance where you’ll find the Black Lotus Artisan Market, food stalls and fairground rides as part of Family Fun Fest.
This is also one of the most beautiful times of year to explore the estate - the Rhododendron Walk and Laburnum arches should still be in bloom, so make sure you leave time for a wander.
Food and drinks will be available to buy across the estate.
Please note:
Dogs are not permitted in the House, Farm or picnic area (assistance dogs welcome).
Entry to the Play Barn is not included in the £5 offer, but standard admission applies if you’d like to visit.
