About this Event

Join Gethsemane AME Church and the Mental Health & Wellness Ministry as we continue our Summer of Stillness Series where we press pause on the world to connect with the peace of God.

In June, we will meet by the water for Breath Prayer, a simple, contemplative prayer that aligns with your natural breathing rhythm where we will inhale a word or phrase about God and exhale a petition, praise, or response.

Then we will participate in a sacred reading of Psalm 139 through Lectio Divina where we will read, meditate and contemplate on Psalm 139: 1-18.

Please bring a journal so you can write down what the Holy Spirit shares with you.
