About this Event
The cadence of medieval life was deeply grounded in the rhythms of nature. Medieval poets and songsters, their lives closely entwined with the natural world, praised summer’s explosion of natural beauty, describing fields of wildflowers, surging brooks, and the songs of the nightingale. The long, warm days were also the time for rich social interactions: for dancing, feasting, and, with a bit of luck, loving. Join the MWC’s summer celebration! Join us for celebratory reception following the concert as we raise a glass to celebrate 35 years of music making!
