About this Event
Summer of '96 — Tributes to Sublime, No Doubt & Bush
Close your eyes. It's summer 1996. The radio is playing "What I Got" into "Don't Speak" into "Glycerine." The windows are down. Nothing matters except the next song. That summer lives again on July 11. Summer of '96 brings together three tributes celebrating the moment when ska, punk, and alternative rock collided into something unforgettable.
Santeria channels Sublime's SoCal soul — the reggae grooves, the punk attitude, Brad Nowell's unmistakable voice. "What I Got." "Santeria." "Wrong Way." "April 29, 1992." These songs still hit different, and they deserve to be heard live, loud, and outside. Not No Doubt brings Gwen Stefani's era-defining energy and the ska-punk explosion that made No Doubt impossible to ignore.
"Just a Girl." "Don't Speak." "Spiderweb." This is peak 90s, delivered with all the attitude. Everything Zen delivers Bush's moody British alternative — the atmospheric guitar tones, Gavin Rossdale's brooding intensity. "Glycerine." "Comedown." "Everything Zen."Grab your friends, grab a spot, and let's make it feel like summer again.
Every summer needs a soundtrack. July 11, yours is 'What I Got' under the stars with a drink in your hand and nowhere else to be. Get tickets.
