Join us on a summer afternoon nature walk led by Marc Taylor, Senior Manager of Planetarium and Science Programs. We’ll start on the grounds of the Museum, head into Trevor Park, and then up to the Old Croton Aqueduct trail above Warburton Avenue. Along the way, we’ll discover and discuss the plants and animals that live alongside us—some native, many exotic, some invasive—and talk about ecological and human history. We provide magnifiers and other tools, you provide curiosity!Wear comfortable walking shoes and dress for the weather. The path is largely in shade but sunblock and insect repellent are recommended. Free with general admission. The group will assemble in the Museum’s lobby.
