Hawai'i Nature Center provides science-based, tech-free, hands-on outdoor experience for children, ages 6 to 11, during school breaks, including summer. Led by environmental educators, our programs are designed to inspire curiosity, encourage environmental stewardship, and help keiki connect with the natural beauty of Hawai'i through meaningful outdoor learning and exploration.Week-long camps features a unique theme and includes engaging activities such as guided hikes, fishing, bug hunts, nature crafts, and exciting field trips to local tide pools and wetlands. Campers will have the opportunity to learn about native plants, island ecosystems, and the importance of mālama ʻāina (caring for the land) while building friendships and confidence in a safe, supportive environment.
Week-long camps on O'ahu will run from June 1 to August 14 from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Camp dates and schedule may vary for Maui programs, so families are encouraged to check the website
