About this Event
Join us once again for an afternoon of great food and justified day drinking!
Entrance will be £5 per person on the door, which covers the entrance to the park. The theme for this year’s extravaganza is Ocean, there's no water nearby but it seems appropriate.
We will kick off with our usual bring-a-dish picnic, and then weather permitting - relax in the gardens for the rest of the day.
This is a bring-a-dish event, so please bring food to (responsibly) share with you - we’d love to try your cooking, though please do be mindful that some people may still be practicing some level of social distancing.
Please spread the word and invite friends & family, let’s make this better than it ever was, make it a day we all deserve! Everyone is welcome, regardless of Japanese level or otherwise – we’ll honestly just be happy to see your faces again!

For those coming from New Street station, it's easiest to go out the back entrance that faces the front of the Bullring and get the 23 or 24 bus from there. It's only about a 10-minute journey. Alternatively, it might be worth getting the train to Five Ways station and walking from there!
Note: If you’re driving to the event, please be sure to let reception know your car’s registration number - this will ensure that you can park for free on the day!
(P.S. Please note that the tickets available on the Eventbrite page act as a voucher for the discounted £5 entry. Please be sure to bring your ticket on your phone/as a printout in order to redeem the discount.)
