It’s time to celebrate the start of summer and kick off our Summer Library Program, Unearth a Story, at Oak Island Park! Parents and children ages 0-11 are invited to join us for a morning packed with fun-filled activities in the fresh air at Oak Island Park in Wausau. Enjoy a petting zoo featuring farm and exotic animals from Whitehaven Petting Zoo, stop at our make-and-take flower planting station with the North Central Wisconsin Master Gardeners, get your face painted by Fancy Faces Facepainting, and more. Don’t miss this exciting celebration!
This free event is open to children and their caregivers. Stop by from 10:00-12:00 p.m. on Monday, June 8. Just look for the MCPL signage! In case of rain, the event will be moved to the Community Room at MCPL Wausau. For more information, call 715-261-7220.
