Derek Flores will take participants through the basics of directing, being directed, and bringing a healthy dose of mischief and charming misbehaviour to your performances.
Workshop participants will perform in Friday evenings Gorilla Theatre show in partnership with the International Theatresports Institute's "Format Symposium"
About Derek & Michi: Meegwai uses a unique team teaching technique with Derek offering an inside the scene perspective while Michi brings her directorial eye. This allows for a more holistic support for the performer. Drawing from Johnstone, Second City, Gaullier, Turner, and years of international teaching experience Derek & Michi bring their interest in seeking connection to the fore while also exploring personal authenticity.
