Welcome to Summer Holiday Crafternoons!
Join us for a fun-filled crafting events which are designed to be relaxed and open to kids of all ages. Unleash your creativity and make some awesome crafts. Join us every Wednesday for a different theme each week:
- 8 July - Block Printing - Create a design and learn to use paint and ink to make your own print
- 15 July - Celebrating our Championships - Design your own trophies and medals
- 22 July - Cardboard Scuptures - Build and paint your own abstract sculpture
- 29 July - National Rain Day - Celebrate the importance of rain for our environment, by making your own unique rain stick or paper umbrella.
- 5 August - National PlayDay - Paper plate frisbees and Card spinners
- 12 August - Afternoon Tea Week - Celebrate the end of summer holidays with a vintage tea party, make teacups, tea pots and cupcakes.
These afternoons are a nice opportunity to get crafty and have a great time as a family.
Tea, coffee and juice will be available. Please book per child attending, but children should always be under the supervision of a parent or guardian. If the Learning Room is busy, there may be a requirement for families to wait for a space.
The Crafternoons are free of charge but do not allow a visit to the galleries, please purchase a ticket at the front desk should you wish to do so.
