Join us in the Shingle Creek Common Ground Community Garden for an hour of plant education, foraging, and fun taught by Eva Garrett from Natural Me, an apothecary in North Minneapolis. Registration is required and space is limited.These guided outdoor classes teach you how to identify medicinal and edible plants growing naturally in your environment. Participants learn how to safely recognize plants, understand their uses, and build confidence in connecting with nature. Plant walks and foraging classes include: Basic plant identification skills, Medicinal and nutritional uses, Ethical and respectful harvesting and seasonal plant knowledge.
