Thank you for your interest in Summer Farm Camp at Horses4Heroes' The Ranch Las Vegas. We are planning nine, one-week camps starting June 1. This is our 17th year offering Summer Camps to local families.
The first step is to complete this interest application. The next step is book your child's visit to The Ranch during an upcoming Family Farm Day. Family Farm Days are Fridays, 10 am to 2 pm or Saturdays, 10 am to 4 pm. Your visit is complimentary. Please email [email protected] to let us know when you can visit during Family Farm Days. You need to visit at least TWO WEEKS prior to the week of camp you are planning at attend. It's important to make sure our ranch and our camp is a good fit for your family. We will advise you if a visit is not necessary to complete the application process. This year our camp is smaller, with a target of 35 kids: 10, ages 4 to 6, 15, ages 7 to 13. (Four year olds are admitted on a case by case basis. It helps if they have been in a structured preschool program.) Therefore we want to make sure that the kids we accept are ready for an immersive learning experience with our horses and farm animals.
Introducing children to horses is what we do best! For two decades, families have trusted us to safely and thoughtfully guide their children during camps, field trips and Family Farm Days. We often see children grow emotionally when they are given the chance to try something new, gently stepping just beyond their comfort zone. That joyful moment when a child proudly says, “I did it!” is more than excitement—it’s a meaningful step toward independence and helps build self-esteem and self-confidence that carries into everyday life.
