Join us on Tuesday, June 9 at 7 PM as the Quantico Marine Band opens the Summer Concert Series. Established in 1918, one of the Marine Corps’ oldest professional musical ensembles, the band features both ceremonial and concert elements and performs a wide range of music—from traditional marches to contemporary favorites—along with specialized small ensembles including jazz, brass, and rock groups.Concerts are held outdoors on the Museum’s entry plaza, weather permitting. Guests are encouraged to bring lawn chairs or picnic blankets. The Museum, Tun Tavern and Museum Store will remain open until 6:45 PM. Outdoor concessions will be available. No alcoholic beverages permitted on Museum grounds.
In the event of inclement weather, schedule or location changes may occur. Select performances may be moved indoors with seating provided.
