Summer Choir Residency Project
Join us for an exciting musical adventure at the New Apostolic Church Camberley! If you love singing and want to be part of a vibrant community, this event is perfect for you. Our Summer Choir Residency Project offers an incredible opportunity to learn, grow, and perform alongside talented musicians.
Over the course of one weekend (right at the start of the Summer holidays), we will co-create an exciting and varied concert programme in the space of just 2 1/2 intensive and inspiring practice days, full of fun and fellowship. The concert programme will combine classical masterpieces, newly written music, gospel pieces and well known hymns, and will be presented in two benefit concerts on the Saturday and Sunday afternoon.
The weekend will develop your singing technique, vocal skills, sightreading ability and musicality; and most of all offer a chance for lots of fellowship, fun and connection with fellow singers and musicians whilst making beautiful music!

Everything happens in just one weekend, so this event is accessible for singers from far and wide. The project is free of charge, the only cost is for accommodation and travel (see details below).

Faith Alive grew out of the Chamber Choir of the New Apostolic Church UK, which was launched and led for 15 years by Gary Cupido. Having re-launched as Faith Alive in 2019, and of course, having battled through the woes of Covid, we have rebuilt ourselves and are enjoying sharing our love of music and faith wherever possible! We are a project based choir with a regular core of singers from all over England, with a wide repertoire of music from all epochs and styles - everything that makes our heart and soul sing.
Our 2023 Weekend Residency project was a huge success and raised over £400 for the local foodbanks in Camberley and Swindon. And did we mention that we had sooo much fun!?
