SUMMER CHESS & ART CAMP AT THE SAINT PETERSBURG CHESS CLUB
The Saint Petersburg Chess Club is pleased to announce a half-day or full-day Chess & Art Camp for the following weeks:
Week 1: 6/1 – 6/5.Chess camp is from 9 am to 12:30 pm. Art camp is from 1 pm to 4 pm.
Week 2: 6/8 – 6/12. Chess camp is from 9 am to 12:30 pm. Art camp is from 1 pm to 4 pm.
Week 3: 7/13 – 7/17. Chess camp is from 9 am to 12:30 pm. Art camp is from 1 pm to 4 pm.
Week 4: 7/20 – 7/24. Chess camp is from 9 am to 12:30 pm. Art camp is from 1 pm to 4 pm.
Week 5: 7/27 – 7/31. Just chess camp from 9 am to 12:30 pm.
Week 6: 8/3 – 8/7. Just chess camp from 9 am to 12:30 pm.
You may participate in the Chess Camp only (morning session), the Art Camp only (afternoon session), or both camps for a full-day experience.
Camp Pricing:
• Half-day camp (Chess or Art): $150 per week or $40 per day.
• Full-day camp (Chess & Art): $270 per week or $70 per day.
• Half-day multi-week discounts: $370 for 3 weeks, $700 for all 6 weeks.
• Best value: $1,100 for 4 full weeks and 2 half weeks.
Accepted payments are through PayPal {[email protected]}, Zelle {same email or (727) 776-5583}, Venmo to Timotey Gospodinov, cash, or check. While you are submitting the payment, please mention for which week you are paying and your children’s names. Registration for every week will be closed after we reach 16 students. All 6 weeks will take place at the Saint Petersburg Chess Club, located at 540 4th Ave. N., Saint Petersburg, FL 33701. All skill levels are welcome!
Chess Camp Daily Schedule:
9:00 a.m. - 9:30 a.m.: Waiting for everyone’s arrival. Chess with Friends and Game Analysis by Coaches.
9:30 a.m. - 10:30 a.m.: Chess lesson, solving puzzles, and practicing.
10:30 a.m. - 11:30 a.m.: Tournament games and game analysis.
11:30 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.: Chess lesson about endgames.
12:00 p.m. – 12:30 p.m.: Fun games with prizes.
12:30 pm. – 1:00 pm.: Lunch for full day students.
This year I will add a chess sticker game with 3 extra chess prizes for 1st to 3rd places. We will have a pizza/ice cream party every Friday to celebrate the end of the week.
