This immersive, week-long, full-day Summer Camp for kids ages 8–14 combines Game Design and Robotics to give students extended time to explore, build, test, and refine ideas across two complementary Studios.This is a hands-on STEM camp for students interested in coding, logic, and interactive systems.
In the morning, students explore the fundamentals of game design, learning how games are structured and how players interact with digital environments, all while building their very own games. In the afternoon, students shift to robotics, where they design, build, and program robotic systems that respond to sensors and inputs in a series of fun project-based challenges.
This Studio pairing emphasizes problem-solving, experimentation, and iterative design while giving students exposure to both digital and physical computing systems.
By the end of the week, students will have completed the equivalent of our Explorer and Creator Levels for two Studios, qualifying them for entry into our advanced Innovator Lab—offered as part of our school-year after-school offerings—where they pursue more independent, self-directed projects.
