Calling all kids who love to explore music, art, and nature! We are Music, Art & Adventure Camp ~ in our third year running as a small, nature-based summer camp serving San Francisco Bay Area families. You can register through our website www.MusicArtAdventure.com
We spend our days in the Presidio...
~playing at Baker Beach,
~climbing trees at Inspiration Point
~painting self-portraits at Crissy Field
~making music
~building friendships... and more!
Each session is small with just 1 group of 12 kids, run by local ecologist and musician Emily Shumway, her opera-singing husband Harlan Hays, and local artist Judith Hernandez.
We also bring in local musicians, ecologists and crafters to share their knowledge with campers, so if you are interested in being featured, please reach out!
Our philosophy as a camp is one of fun, freedom, exploration and group bonding. We strive to support every camper in feeling welcome and included through listening to camper ideas, offering leadership opportunities and group games and activities.
There are limited spots for 7-12th Graders to join as Counselors-In-Training. Their presence at camp is so fun and meaningful for the campers, giving them older kids to look up to.
