Our DIY Adventurers day camp at Fisk Avenue is crafted for older kids ages 8–11 who are ready to take on more involved, skill-building projects with tools. Throughout the week, campers will design their own splatter t-shirts, experiment with fluid art on canvas, craft a custom cribbage board, create a colorful epoxy suncatcher, and tackle string art. Led by art professional Madilyn Duffy, this camp empowers young creators to explore new techniques, develop fine motor skills, and express their unique ideas. Each session is packed with hands-on learning and creative problem-solving, all in the inspiring setting of our historic downtown Waukesha studio.Summer Camp Details:

🖌️ Instruction on art and building techniques
🔨 One craft project each day per camper
🧃 A juice box and snack time daily
🎨 Gallery time on Friday to show off your art!
Daily Projects:
• Splatter Zone Camp T-shirt: Have a blast in our splatter room! Gear up, toss colors on your camp shirt, and make art you can wear to camp.
• Fluid Art: Pour, swirl, and mix paint on canvas to make your own vibrant, modern masterpiece, plus add fun decorations to finish it off!
• Epoxy Suncatcher: Choose a shape, then paint your laser-cut wooden suncatcher and add transparent epoxy and glass crystals to create dazzling window art!
• Cribbage Board: Create your own custom cribbage board by gluing, sanding, and drilling your choice of beautiful hardwood pieces.
• String Art: Hammer in nails and weave colorful string to create cool 3D art—pick from fun designs like hearts, flowers, and more!
How to Register:
Book your camper's spot with a $100 nonrefundable deposit. Total cost is $239. Final payment of $139 is due one week before camp.
