About this Event
Join Experience 46 Degrees at Market Vineyards for a relaxed and interactive evening where you’ll taste three Washington wines thoughtfully paired with three small plates designed to highlight how acidity, sweetness, and herbs impact a wine pairing experience.
Rather than focusing on formal tasting notes, this class teaches wine through flavor and food in a way that is fun for both beginners and wine lovers alike.
The Pairing Menu
Red Mountain AVA Sauvignon Blanc
Paired with a Blueberry, Cucumber & Goat Cheese Salad featuring fresh herbs and a bright lemon vinaigrette.
Viognier/Roussanne Blend
Paired with a Blackberry, Brie & Arugula Flatbread finished with hot honey.
Red Mountain AVA Merlot
Paired with Blackberry Dark Chocolate Cream Cups — an easy and decadent dessert pairing guests can recreate at home.
Throughout the evening, we’ll discuss:
- Why certain foods make wine taste better
- Simple principles you can use at home when selecting wine and food together
Each participant will also take home:
- A bottle of wine from the evening
- The recipes for all three dishes so you can recreate the pairings at home for family and friends
WIne, food, and an enjoyable evening learning through tasting.
